WT Fun

I’m going to conveniently title this segment: Shit We Heard at the Fair

I went with Darcy to the fair on Saturday. It was butt-ass cold and my ear canals felt frozen but the upswing was that it was not overly crowded the way it usually is. I managed to ride the Sky Ride (which I have not done in years due my fear of heights) and the Ferris Wheel without problems. He actually rode a roller coaster with me despite his dislike of rapid spinny motions. It was nice. Due to the cold, there was not as much exposed flesh and not as many herds of people out. However, I do have a few gems.

Man: “I’m hungry again.”
Woman: “You just had you some gator meat.”

Teenage Boy: “Mama, I heard that when you touch a bunny you’re supposed to rub stuff on your hands afterwards.”
Darcy to me: “Yeah, it’s called soap.”

Me rubbing Darcy’s neck. Hippie woman walks by: “Oooh, me next!”
Darcy and I both look at each other in horror.

Dad to child: “Don’t tell your sister we took you out here for treats without her.”
