Wildeman Farmhouse IPA

A few notes about this one:

The color is beautiful and the smell is great. The smell is actually much better than the taste to me. At the risk of sounding jokey, the taste does get better as the drink goes on, LOL. But it's quite bitter even for me. And it has a funky bitter aftertaste kind of like turnip greens or aspirin. That being said, I certainly haven't given away my 6 pack of it. It grows on you in a weird way. I like the general concept of a farmhouse beer and I think when you participate in farming and/or gardening, you appreciate that idea of preparing for the coming seasons (brewed in winter, enjoyed in the summer).

On my scale of 5, I give it a 5/5 on scent and 3/5 on taste.
