So I was milling around on the internets (the world wide webs, Cheney) one night when I stumbled on this audio clip: https://soundcloud.com/samantha-moyes/tom-hiddleston-i-will-be-the. I read the girl's comment, "I understand. Now stop talking and start bedding" and cracked upppp. But it got me interested in the story. I wanted to know who the hell this guy was. I checked the book out at the library and I have to say it was a good read. The only bad thing was that I didn't know it has a sequel. So I get to the end and I'm like, "Wait a minute. This is not closure!" So I'll be checking out The Silver Blade once I can get it from the library. Damn you, Hiddleston. Making me use my English degree, reading and shit. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9kyr2m2fH1rt4d5bo1_400.jpg there ya go and there ya have it.
So as I was hobbling through the library today (getting looks of pity from the staff who seem not to understand Achilles tendinitis), I saw a book cover that caught my eye. The cover art looked kinda Jack the Ripper-ish. By coincidence, it's connected to a preview I saw on Nothing But Trailers the other night (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1538403/?ref_=sr_1). It's called Clockwork Angel. The tweens are probably aware of it but I am behind the curve on such things since I don't have a screaming kid in tow. (Thank you, Jesus.) I like that the story begins with a demon's guts exploding. I think you set a bar high with something like that. LOL.
SB still going well. One week down and counting. When I reintroduce fruit, I want a tart Granny Smith apple and when I reintroduce grains, I want a slice of the whole wheat homemade bread I make.
