I have Circle going in the background and I am laughing myself silly. It's been a good evening. Been a good week so far for the most part. I am still peeling like crazy. I was talking today about how I cannot believe the hubris of people to ask why my face is peeling . . . it's called: sod off. I had an acne treatment, how about that. Goodness. Anyway, what was I saying . . . I got distracted there because Eddie was on the part about dinosaurs playing cards in the dinosaur bar and he says, "Rar" and it's very funny. And cute. Oh yeah-- I was laughing too this evening about an article on Wikipedia and the weird inter-connectedness of the people I like.
Read thusly:
The conflict escalated and at one point the host, Angus Deayton, asked if they wished to go outside and have a fight. Later in the show, when shown his question in the "Odd One Out round" (Rupert Allason; Sting; a koala; Geoffrey Clements) Morgan responded, "Is the answer 'jam'?" in reference to a joke made by Eddie Izzard the previous week, saying, "Last week Eddie Izzard said it and everyone roared with laughter." Hislop retorted that Izzard got a laugh because "People like him". Morgan replied, "Don't play the popularity line with me, Hislop", before appealing to the audience: "Does anyone actually like him?" The audience responded loudly in favour of Hislop.
I hadn't realized before that Piers Morgan had quoted Eddie Izzard. Who would have imagined.
And while you're at it-- before YouTube boots it off-- get thee hence and jam to this:
It is my cuttttttttttttt right now. Don't know if it will be on an album by TI or by Justin or what but they need to release that shit on Napster 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, NOW. If I talk this shit to you, would you talk it back to me, too? If I told you that your attention would set my heart on fire, would you respond? The answer to that is yes. If I imagine that you had as much panache and flair as I hoped, would you show me? The answer to that too is yes.
