If you're working with dicks, you're in a no-win situation. Especially if it's the boss or someone who is in thick with the boss. You might get a break from it for a few minutes or a few days but you will NOT change the assholes or the system. Those people were shit sandwiches before you arrived and will be after you leave. Stuff I've been dealing with:

Assholes
Sexists
Homophobes
Right wing KKK types
Neo-Nazis / anti-Semites
Cheaters
Liars
Incompetent and/or impotent managers
Dude halfway running the show was exactly like Chad Radwell of Scream Queens
Policies stuck in the 90s
Everything backhanded and backassward; no one being upfront or direct
Support of the wrong people. Top employees crapped on while bottom feeders celebrated.
Pointless meetings that droned on for hours
Mandatory socializing - here's a newsflash: if you have to FORCE people to go, they don't wanna attend your asshat team building exercises. They fucking don't.
Inappropriate sexual relationships going on
No HR
Zero accountability, zero transparency
Hostile environment - this included me being grabbed and shoved on more than one occasion by the office pervert who looks exactly like Dabney from 9 to 5
Lots of greed and fake pathos disguised as "truly caring about people."
Being coached to write glowing reviews online by management
Rampant ego mania - statements by management of "don't they know who I am?" "Don't they know my power?" No. Because you are a nobody.
It was a toxic environment. More to come on the next stop on the map. I think it's the right place for the right time in my life.
