Winter Lager

I had high hopes for Sam Adams Winter Lager and I was excited to find it in the store. Unfortunately, I found it kind of "meh."

Taste: 3/5

It smells and tastes pretty strongly of alcohol. I really didn't detect much of the wintertime spices at all. It wasn't terrible and luckily it didn't have a skunky taste. But definitely not one of my SA favorites.
