I've been contemplating the purchase of a sewing machine followed by some sort of teaching on how it works. I've seen some very cool old school patterns and wished I had the knowledge to make them. You can find decent vintage or retro replicas but they can be very expensive. Sometimes in order to get the right product, you have to make it yourself.
I read a Forbes article about a man's horror at the apparel he saw at a graduation. I once encountered a woman who showed up for a job interview wearing a bikini top. Not to mention the shit-ton of guys who now think it is appropriate to show up for an interview with a full Duck Dynasty beard. Fuck off, pal. No one outside of a rig or a logging company will hire you with a dead skunk attached to your face.
