Phase 2

Started Phase 2 today, albeit feeling tentative about it. I had a bowl of “approved” cereal for breakfast and can’t say I was terribly impressed. I sorta missed either having a protein shake or turkey bacon with eggs. One thing I noticed quickly is that my level of hunger has been up all day. Instead of feeling pretty baseline until mealtime, I’ve felt snacky all day. Could be that the timing off it was wrong, I dunno. I think tomorrow I will opt for a piece of fruit instead and have it with lunch or as a midday snack and see if that helps. I am still eager to bake some homemade bread though, but that’s a project for this weekend when I have time. That would be a better indulgence, I think, than bland cereal. That was just . . . a failure to live up to expectations, LOL. I was able to squeeze in a workout at lunch and I am totally spent. All I want to do is stretch out and absorb some heat before the cold comes back. I’m not much of a sun worshipper (which is why I don’t look 32) but today, I may slather on some sunscreen and sit outside for 15 or 20 to sun like a gator.
