I re-read "2BR02B" and couldn't help but see parallels between the story and what's going on in the government now. Sure-- it's conceivable that we could have a perfect world but the price for it is too high for anyone to bear. Think about it.
I also read Carmilla to get a little vampire fix. It's an interesting spin, I suppose, for a female vampire to prey on female victims. It predates Stoker's Dracula so it's an important read for anyone interested in the genre. I myself would still rather have the dapper, gentleman style vamp, call me crazy.
*People are insane from holiday drama. This is merely an ipso facto observation.
*Each week on Hoarders, I think the people seeking help cannot get any worse off. Oh they can, friends, they can. And they do.
*The Ungettable Get. *Deep sigh of contentment* It's one of life's true pleasures when, like, you have something nice to say to someone you think is the cat's pajamas and they respond back in kind. It's so simple yet so very exhilarating.

*If there is ice on the road, that's probably not the best time to be: putting on make-up, talking on a cell phone, playing a game, digging through junk in your car, turning around to yell at your kids in the backseat, etc. NOT SMART.
