Piers Morgan, You Rock!

And that's pretty much the point of this blog in a nutshell. If people tell you he's an asshole or only the "mean judge" on AGT, don't listen. 'Cause I'm here to tell you that, at least in my experience, he is good to his fans. He was at least good to this one and I am grateful for it. I always think it's awesome when celebs stay connected to their fans and don't get the Asshole Syndrome of behaving like they are lightyears above the average person. When I encounter someone like that, I immediately decide that I am no longer a fan but an acid-tongued critic. And yes, I could name names, believe me, of mega fuckwads I've encountered. In fact, two of the worst were at SxSW. But I digress. The better side of the coin is this: if you're good to me, you've won a lifelong fan.

So thanks, Piers. I can't think of a better way to kick off Roger Moore Weekend.
