Tonight, tonight, tonight, ohhh ohhhh

Balls. I am tired. It will be a night of turning in early for me, I'm afraid. I am giving myself a night off to be a lazybones. I was so exhausted today. I think a lot of it is allergies but I am saying to hell with it tonight. No housework, no exercise, just sleep. I wheeled the trashcan out to the curb and that was that. I will be crawling in the bed very soon. I have been working like a fiend and I feel it. Someone commented last week, "You sure are getting your hours in and then some." And I said, "Yes, I sure am. And more to go." It's one of those things where the two people I am seeing in NYC are worth their weight in gold to me . . . and then some. So I'll keep chugging along until I have the money raised for this trip. Besides that, it's very exciting to go to the city that never sleeps. I will have been bicoastal at year's end.

Song of the night: Even though I was singing Genesis up at the title bar, the song of the night is Christopher Cross with Michael freakin' McDonald doing "Ride Like the Wind."

Quote of the night: RGM on burns he sustained from the final gun battle between Bond and Stromberg in The Spy Who Loved Me. If you aren't familiar with the scene, RGM has to dive out of a chair to avoid getting blown to hell. The timing of the stunt wasn't perfect and he had a burned backside from it. "I tell people I have three holes where others have just one."
