"Because you girls are so cool"

A little while back, there was an English pub/restaurant around these parts. The guy who ran it, Alfie, was quite the charmer. One night he came out to the table where my friend and I were eating and he gives us some candy bars and tells us he's gifting us with these items "because you girls are so cool." Well because this girl is so cool (and so lucky), she has a truly wonderful autographed photo on her wall of the Top Gear boys. It's one of my cherished treasures already.

I'm quite happy!




I am sitting here at the moment, relaxing and trying to enjoy the last remaining bits of my weekend, watching a 2-part episode of The Saint called "The Fiction Makers." Good gracious. Roger Moore is so handsome. There was a scene of him lounging in these goofy old school pajamas-- they were red, which made his blue eyes stand out even more-- and I thought, "What girl wouldn't want to wake up to that every morning?"
