N for No

A man adamantly recommended to me V for Vendetta and acted positively astounded when I said I had not seen it, did not plan to and did not want to. He acted like this film was the best thing ever. I read the synopsis on the back of the DVD case and broke it down to my friend why we would not be renting this movie. It received 3 strikes from me accordingly:

Strike #1: an annoying mask. I actually summed this up in the video store simply as "mask." Because to me, that shit is retarded as hell and I don't want to see a damn mask for 2 hours unless it's in a horror flick.

Strike #2: based on a graphic novel. Not a novel, which would be fine, but a graphic novel. NO THANKS.

Strike #3: a production from those who brought us The Matrix trilogy.

Not gonna happen.
